Pathways Day out

In the first week of May Pathways are planning a day trip out.

We have been following a programme of study about rocks. Our big question is “Are all rocks the same?”

During this trip, we will be walking cheddar gorge to see how the end of the last ice age has shaped the rocks of our landscape.

Following that we will be creating models of the area before comparing it to Dartmoors granite tors.

Our pathways provision at Gateway is currently taking part in a discovery course at horse world.

It is every Tuesday for the whole of term 6.

The students get to look after rescue horses that need calm people around them, in turn this helps young people regulate their own behaviour.
